It’s not easy to support someone struggling with gambling, especially if they’re close to you. What they do can impact your life every day.

What strategies can you use?

When someone close to you has an issue with gambling, you may simply want to help them. But their gambling can also affect you emotionally, financially, and maybe even physically. We’re here to support you.

Signs of gambling harm

It’s hard to know if someone is struggling with gambling. Your loved one may have done everything possible to hide it from you. What should you look for?

Prepare yourself

It takes courage and commitment to support someone with a gambling problem on their journey to change. Get an idea of what to expect.

Start the conversation

Getting a conversation going is important. It’s the first step to getting your loved one to open up. There are some practical strategies you can use.
